So what´s all this Audible I´ve been mentioning in all of my book reviews?
Shortly It is an app that allows you to listen to books.
It is currently the most widely used software (As far as I’m aware) for listening to audiobooks with the widest database of books available on one platform.
Keep reading till the end if you value your time and would like to put it to the best of use.

Why do I recommend Audible?

I personally have already listened to more than 20 books on it already.
Audible also seemed to be the cheapest of it´s competitors when I checked it on few occasions.
Moreover in comparison to my local books I could get 3 audiobooks (At audible UK) at the price of one physical book.
I signed then for audible in order to save myself the constant search for books through all the platforms, and so far I am satisfied.
It appears to have most of the books I look for.

The huge undeniable advantage of Audiobooks

Basically they can be read on the go, or while eating or while driving or at the gym, thus saving “Dead” time. It’s not replacing anything rather an awesome addition in a lot of cases. Just think about it. If you just listened to an audiobook everytime you ate, you could listen to an hour and a half approximately of a book every day! Not requiring any additional free time. Now add to it your commute to work, maybe your workout, washing dishes, washing clothes, aand you get the point.

Cost difference between Audiobooks and Physical Books

In case of a monthly membership I pay 8 GBP per book, while it could be even less as I explain in the PDF I provide with a ton of tricks upon your joining the Audible trial, but for now lets assume I pay 8 GBP. One book on average in my city is 24 GBP. So you calculate the difference. That said, remember that the content of the audiobook is exactly the same content you get in the physical book in most cases! So it’s basically the same information for three times less, and that’s not yet counting all the tips I’ll give you in the PDF!

Listening / Reading time and Information Retention

Those two Terms of comparison are interconnected, as I believe that on audiobooks generally you will be able to finish the books quicker, as it requires less concentration, but on the other hand it is easier to miss something, because as the books finish faster, you get a bit less emotionally attached to it, and therefor apply it less. But those are general assumptions and it mostly depends on the reader of course, that is just my experience. You may also stop the book of course or rewind when needed, or take notes as you read to retain information better.

So at the bottom line, why should I try Audible?

First of all you get 3 free books – 1 book of your choice and 2 audible originals of your choice. The audible originals though rarely include self-improvement bestsellers from what I’ve seen and I have never used them.
Second of all you’ll get a PDF blasted with moneysaving tips as soon as you send me your order number in the form below that will get you quite a few discounts ( Will make my best to send it within 24 hours ).
Third of all, who knows, you might just like it and get countless hours of wisdom that you previously couldn’t by killing off the “dead” time at meals, driving etc.
